Our Curriculum
Our Thematic Curriculum is both comprehensive and challenging. Designed by our team of qualified early childhood educators, we provide integrated and hands-on learning experiences for the children. The daily activities enhance the children's physical, cognitive, social and emotional development. We provide for each child's individual and group needs.
There are opportunities for creative and expressive arts, music and movements, science experiences, mathematics, excursions, educational tours and play. In fact, our curriculum seeks to maximize a child's learning abilities thus laying out a strong foundation to prepare him or her for the next level of education.
Playgroup and Nursery 1 (age 18 months to < 4 years)
We believe that the first three years of a child is of utmost importance. Your child will learn to acquire social, interpersonal, self-help and self-image skills. The development of gross and fine motor skills is focused. It lays the foundation for the development of life long learning skill, the ability to think creatively.
Playgroup and Nursery 2 (age 4 years to < 5 years)
At this age, the children are more active and expressive. They develop a greater appreciation of the purposes of spoken and written language, thus refining their understandings of the meanings through language. The understanding and the use of prints and pictures as symbols increase the interest in writing and reading. Our programs provide age appropriate learning experiences.
Kindergarten 1 & Kindergarten 2 (age 5 to 7 years)
The curriculum balances thematic and skilled-based learning in a holistic way. The thematic curriculum is taught through learning themes that form the framework of content learning experiences to make the learning process fun and meaningful for the children. The skilled-based component aims to develop children's expressive language and proficiency in listening, reading and writing.
Hands-on math is learned through interactive learning that makes math alive and fun. Children will be able to explore and discover math concepts and skills through concrete learning experiences. They begin to develop concepts of time, space, weight, distance and measurement.
The English Language emphasizes on listening, speaking, reading and writing. English language is also taught in Enrichment Programs such as Reading Program, Phonics, Speech and Drama and Cimputer Program.
